In a dilemma as 'C' service due in a couple of months, last time the ML went into a MB dealership was very unimpressed, ripped me off and tried to replace parts not even needed like wipers that I had changed days earlier for new Bosch parts etc. so my inclination to use a geunine dealer this time round is very small!

However, not sure about what is actually done during 'C' service, if it is a bucket load of checks and little actual change of parts/fluids etc. then will probably take elsewhere as the roadside 'add on' again doesnt inpsire with confidence as only time I rang them they wouldnt come out as it was just I was locked out of the vehicle (due to the SAM not being replaced as it should have been but they didnt consider it a breakdown!)

Can anyone offer some advice, also if anyone happens to know the service requirements for a W164 C service that would be appreciated too?

Thanks in advance

Well If you are anywhere near Essex, then I cannot recommend enough Cowdray Car Centre they live at 83 Gosbecks Road Colchester CO2 9JS they have just moved into new premises the sign goes up tomorrow ,Chris who runs it is first class and they are not rip off merchants, there charges are fair and they do a great job,my W221 S320 has been well looked after, take this morning I am in Colchester the car has been showing a parking brake fault for a week or two and I had the B service come up so went there, I had a major service last year and Chris says there is no way your car needs a service after 9,000 miles,so puts the Star on it and it has a lot of data bus conflicts and removes them all and says if that brake one comes back book it in and we will find what is causing it,the cost nothing,he knows I will book it in and he is a top guy.
