W164 ML leds

Has anyone fitted leds to the number plate lights that don't bring up the bulb failure on a W164 ML?
And if so where did you get them?

You can get them on ebay. Just search for CANBUS or error free numberplate leds.

Been there twice they are ok in my W203
no bulb failures, but put them in my W164 they work ok, but get bulb failures, it must be more sensitive

Seems that MB changed the bulb failure circuits on ML's after 2008 so can't fit normal Bulb failure LED's. Not sure it that applies to other models.

I replaced the numberplate bulbs with LED a few weeks ago. I have had no problems. My car is a late 2005 (55) W164 ML500. I have some before and after pics but don't think I can upload them on here yet. I can e mail you the pics if you send me pm with your e mail.
I also changed the horrible yellow side lights to LED white.
