Hi there I have inherited an 09, w164 300cdi with 57k on the clock,

I have no complains about the suspension itself, but the body roll is woeful, the stabiliser links are fine because it was the first think I checked.

So I deduced I need thicker sway bars, where can I find such parts....the internet is providing anything tangible really.

Thanks in advance.

Has the car standard suspension or adapative damping? These are big top heavy cars with heavy duty suspension components-- this may mean they knock out their springs/shocks more rapidly than normal road cars- new springs and shocks may restore the handling you want?

Hi there,

the links are Great!!!

The car has standard suspension.

I think the car was designed to be that way, shocks and suspension feel well and any aftermarket coils are lower, it like the standard height.

what I want to eliminate is that boat like feeling....thus why I was thinking if I could find a thicker ARB's before meddling with all the suspension

Does a W164 have a separate chassis or is it monocoque?
