Hi, new to the forum and thought I'd ask for some technical advice
Basically my W164 ML320 has thrown up a third brake light warning and the tailgate neither goes up nor down. Dealer says it requires new third brake light and a hydraulic pump
There's a good Merc specialist near me and I intend to go there rather than the dealer again but thought is see if
1) third brake light - anyone know if these can be sought aftermarket? Also, anyone got any instructions on how to change it?
2) tailgate pump- can't seem to find a working second hand one on line and don't fancy spending £650 on the part. It's not something which id be able to change anyway but I'm keen to have a look in the boot - anyone got an idea how to get to it?
