2013 Merc ml350 diesel w166, windscreen washers problem, can hear the pump working but putting no water out through the jets on the drivers side, and only dribbling out of the jets on the passenger side, but the back windscreen washer working perfectly

Hi, I think the front and rear wash systems use separate pumps. You may have a blocked up inlet to the front pump. Sometimes the inlet gauze filter gets blocked with a sort of gel gunge which can be bacteria or a reaction between different washer fluids. If you can let the washer tank empty and get a hose down there you may be lucky and shift it. Otherwise the pump needs to come out for a clean. Usually means inner wheel arch off to get to it. Not a big job but not for everyone. Check the nozzles too as they could be blocked. Some scale cleaner and a small brush should do the trick.
