Hi

The blower motor on my mom's W169/2011 has packed up. It initially started with the regulator going but upon replacing and starting again and after few noisy days the blower packed up as well .
The car is fitted with climate control not standard A/C .
Now the challenge here is how to remove the blower motor as the steering wheel in on the way. I assume there is a trick to do so ... I have searched around and could not find a clear answer. Looks like the issue is specific to RHD cards as the LHR cars dont have the same issue ..

Any help/advice would be very much appreciated ...

Regards

Not done this before, but if you really can't get it out with the steering column in the way you'll have to unbolt the steering column - which may allow you to move it far enough away. (We have to do this installing COMAND ventilation fans on the new A class). If you can't get it far enough away then it pulls out. But I'd be getting our friendly local Mercedes specialist mechanic to do that bit as no idea what you need to do to ensure it goes back in the same place.
