On my 2012 W169 A160 petrol, I’ve notice a definite “lurch “ when accelerating hard from a halt. For those who can remember minis and their worn engine stabiliser top mount bushes , it’s akin to that, it’s like the engine movimg excessively on its mounts .
with mine, i feel a definite lurch (almost knock ) But only for a standing start.
The car has only done 14k miles but is nearly 9 years old so I suspect it’s age related. It’s only started since I took the car over from my mother in september 2020.
any pointers in what is failing? I’d rather replace it now than let it get worse than something break or it cause further damage elsewhere.
