W169 NTG 2.5 Retrofitting

Hello everyone,

I was trying to find a step by step guide with all the information, everything lacked something. So I have a 2006 W169 with Audio 5 system. Will the COMAND NTG 2.5 fit my car? Will I be able to install it in my car? I found this unit on ebay:

So after I remove my old audio 5 will all the necessary cable be there? Will I have to buy some additional antennas/microphones/etc. so that everything will work? Do I need any coding with my car? Is it possible to do it by myself without a professional help? What tools will I need and where can I buy them? If I manage to replace my old audio with the COMAND unit will it work or will I have to enter some codes?

If it had audio 5 then you will need a cable adapter harness.
It will need coding to work as it should.
Give the guys at comand on line a call, they will have all you need.
