W202 1995 headlights & glass on facelift car??

Appreciate your help on this one guys.

Getting a lot of questions on my auctions about whether my W202 glass and headlights will fit a facelift W202.

I have 1 drivers headlight glass for sale, it is pre-facelift i.e. 1999 I assume this will not fit onto a facelifted headlight on a W202?

As for the entire light units themselves, will pre-facelfit headlights fit a facelift car?

Pre-facelift headlamps will fit a facelift car. The strips under the headlamps would need to be swapped too.

Pre-facelift headlamps are generally considered to be inferior to the facelift ones but to the untrained eye look basically the same. Some lamp functions are moved to different locations in the housing but still operate in exactly the same way. Due to the lamp locations the lenses are not inter-changable.

If you must change the headlamps then I can recommend going for the oem HID/Xenons. ~£600 but they genuinely are the best possible headlamp for the w202. They come with a full set of bulbs and also corner indicators so if you want to recover some costs you can sell your old headlamps and corner indicator units plus bulbs if you want
