Hi there all, hoping someone can shed some light on this one. 1999 W202 with the ASR ABS brake system. The two orange lights come up from time to time on the dash as you start the car. Have had MB Star on it and get the below code:
C1301 - 016
Solenoid valve
FL A7 / 3y7
Reduce pressure
I know this points to a faulty ABS pump based on research, but can anyone confirm if this is the hydraulic valve body the brake lines screw into that needs replacing or the electronic ECU part that bolts on to the side of it with the wiring harness plugged to it ?
