I have the MBSS with the green and red LEDs in the rear view mirror and the driver's door handle. The red LED in the door handle has suddenly stopped working. All the others are ok. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

in my one i have the LEDs in the mirror only, i did have the alarm stop working once when a diode in the rear view mirror died(quite common apparently), once it was opened up and a new one put in all worked again.

is the rest of the alarm locking working ok?

    Hi,
The door LED can,t be replaced, you have to buy a new unit when i bought mine it was about £40, now i think their in the region of £60-65.
I replaced mine because you can have immobiliser issues if the LED's go in the rear view mirror and believed this to be the same so rather than take a chance i replaced it.

Have similar issue with my high level spoiler mounted brake light- £80 plus p&p and then tax I bet from USA! Seems there's some money to be made for someone out of offering soldering repairs and bulb replacement....
