Is there much involved in converting a 1999 5spd manual w202 to auto. I've been offered a low mileage manual but want an auto.

Yep. You're better off finding an auto one, of which there are many.

yes i agree, its not an uncommon car and dont discount higher mileage ones - they go onto very high miles very easily.

Saw one of those manual -> auto conversions in the garage. Was told that car is always in for something or other - all related to the conversion.
