I my 2000 w202 c180 has been parked up for winter outside with a cover over her,but I have no access to electric where she is so I was wondering do I leave the battery on or do I disconnect it and what pitfalls am I likely to experience when I reconnect or recharge/replace the battery.

I would disconnect else you will get a flat battery.

What can I expect to happen when I reconnect it will I have to reset anything.

The one touch closing for the windows.

When you reconnect the battery you will also need to re-enter the stereo code if coded stereo is still fitted, and the ESP, BAS, and ABS warning lights will be on until the steering is cycled for lock to lock.
