W202 (C200,W plate)front pads......

Any opinions,

I'm intending on changing my front pads & wanted to know what pads to fit
i.e. MB dealer pads are £45 + vat, GSF have textar at £17 + vat,del & Eurocarparts have textar at £35 (includes vat & del).

What do you recommend? Are the textar pads the same as OEM ?

OEM pads are made by either ATE or Textar.

I got a full set of discs and pads (front and back) from GSF (cant remember the makes but they weren't genuine parts) when I bought my 190 and they were still fitted to it when I sold it 2 years later without a moments trouble.
Only complaint was that they were slightly noisy but that could be down to me as I tend to drive quite hard at times.

obviously the Jury's still out over non MB pads.I think I'll probably go for the stealership supplied pads,just for peace of mind & the 2 year guarantee.

Just trying to justify the £25 quid price difference,but its funny how the back pads were almost the same price as GSF & ECP.

ive used gsf textar ones in the past on my golf, oem are the made by them.
