Decided to sell the oily beast as I have now to do regular long motorway trips.

Good points
-Almost totally rust free now. new boot, new wings, rolled rear arches. Fully repainted merc 744 silver

-black leather AMG interior, electric drivers seat (needs wiring in). Heated passenger set (weirdly) - needs wiring in - switches included.
-Starts perfectly, with no 'cranking' at all.
-Gearbox oil and filter just replaced. Old filter surprisingly clean and swarf free
-Two sets of wheels - winter 15" with set of matching snow tyres, summer 17" rims.
-new rear springs
-new engine mounts
-new filters
-new front wheel arch liners (common fault)
-Facelift steering wheel
-Becker stereo with sat nav / aux in (really really good!)
-Full set of rubber mats - inc boot.
-Towbar with bumper protector and single electrics
-New set of brembo brake pads (front) in box to be fitted
-Runs on chip fat! Small modification to fuel system to allow this - removeable in about 10 mins. Still runs on diesel.
-De-catted.
-Full stainless exhaust in good nick.
-Lots of tax and MOT.
-Avantgarde grille
-Original tool kit. Mostly.
-No rattles!

Everything electrical etc works except:-

bad points
rear boot light doesnt work - have replaced bulb, dunno why.
No air con - aircon condensor removed by PO. Its England - it doesnt get that hot!
Scratch on rear bumper. (supermarket)
Scratch on front bumper. (monkey fitter)
Bit of wind noise from OS rear door?. new seal included.
186,000 miles!
Exhaust rattles against something when in reverse.
Limited history. PO was a monkey, have spent ages fixing lots of tiny faults like worn gear linkage bushes, gas rams on tailgate, replacing dash bulbs etc etc.

Pics to follow.

wanted - S320CDi post 2003!

Annoyingly had to pull this as I got let diwn on the new car. But its now for sale again.
