Hi Guys,

I have been looking at the B12 kit from bilstein for my w202 c36.
The kit has 4 x b8 shocks:

2xB36-1854
2xB36-1855

and 4 x eibach springs

has anyone fitted this kit to a c36 do they fit, as i can see they are ok for the c280 but do not specify the c36

Thanks

Raj

Hi Raj, not sure if this helps but I have fitted this kit to my C43 W202 as part of my restoration. Can't comment on driving, handling etc, as it's not roadworthy yet, but they went on no problem.

i would go with Koni's full suspension kit

or build your own sh*t with Koni shox and Vogtland springs.
perfect match made in heaven!

Thanks Abb,

at least i know they will fit, most places don't list the c36 but have the c280 so i would imagine it would be ok.

I think i may take the plunge and buy the set .

(nice Resto on the 43 too, your a brave man lol ;))

I was looking at the Koni set up i like the adjustable option, but from what i know of koni which is not really current they were quite a hard ride correct me if im wrong.

you want sport?
go with Koni's.
then you can twist your shox and your ride turning knob 0-3, depending on if it's your bad hair day or not?
good hair day, ride hard
bad hair day ride soft

you wanna rocking chair go with softer shox

the C36 is sport and deserves proper shox

original Billy shox for c43 are stiff.
I ride my Koni's on full set riding to the max and love it!
it's more of a gocart now glued to the tarmac

Hi Kowolski,

The issue i have at the moment is my exhaust mid box scrapes in some places, with the current set up which i believe is oem still...
i dont really like the really low down look to be honest, i would be happy with something similar to stock but avoids any scrapes.

i need to make sure all the exhaust clips and bungs etc are in place correctly too
But ive been told its just how they are

Raj
