W202 C43 Fuel filter

Good morning. Investigating fuel leak on 1998 C43. Having lowered pump and filter I have noted there are two inputs and 2 outlets. My puzzle is I have no pipe connected to one of the outlets! And for the life of me I can not find any unconnected pipes. Anyone help please?

Possible fuel leak could also be the short L-shaped hose, it will dry rot where it's bend.
