W202 classic upper bumper colour?

Hi l does anyone know the paint colour is on the upper part of the bumper of a w202? classic ie no chrome trim?

are you sure, I say because I have been looking and a lot of 1999 w202 have a grey top half...or on the silver cars its a darker colour where the chrome top trim would go on say an elegance model?

our 1994 Classic Green Metallic C220 Diesel has original matt black upper bumper cappings

im not sure if the actual trim is this grey colour on the later version...as the door strips are the same colour, I have a scuffed front one and it sticks out like a sore thumb..i cant seem to find just the trim, I have seen several bumpers for sale with the same colour trim but they are also damaged, was hoping just to repair and spray mine....hmmm

the Green car has black bumper cappings and door/wing strips where as the facelift Ruby c250 has a darker shade upper cappings and strips of the same colour as the rest of the car
