W202 dash lights / intermittant speedo. C220 CDi

Help!!,

On my way to work this morning we have some strange things happening.

Dash lights randomly flashing one after the other, brake pad warning lights, abs, epc, glowplug lights etc etc., then the speedo starts flapping up and down then stops working.

Dont know if its a coincidence, but earlier in the week I started the car without waiting for any lights going out and the speedo never worked on the journey. Stopped and started again speedo ok.

Is this a brake light switch issue or something deeper?? Help!!!!

I would try disconnecting the battery for 10mins and then reconnecting again.
You may have to re-sync the windows again and the asr but it's certainly worth a try.
Perhaps if television (Malcolm) picks up this thread he certainly has a far better knowledge than myself of all things electrically and may have a solution.

Not hijacking the thread but I thought (Malcolm) he was no longer a member of this forum. Still posts in the other one though
