I fitted a new drag link to my 98 C240 yesterday it would have been a quick simple job but I bought one about 3 months back and the supplier said C240 was different but they had 1 and sent it , about 3 weeks later I bought one off Ebay seller (a local Independant)said fits all C class 93-2000. when I put the second one next to the one I removed it was different, so I got the first one out and that was wrong also so after a few phone calls and conflicting stories one supplier said only one for all w202 one said c240 different I phoned the Mercedes Dealer in Cambridge gave them a chassis number and they looked up part and said only 1 ,no chassis number breaks but the part number they quoted was 1 digit different from the part from the indy
Anyway after 50 mile round trip and £147.05 (I needed the car )I got the correct one and fitted it. so if you have a C240 the drag link is different despite what some suppliers will tell you. 202460 04 05 will not fit and 202460 05 05 is the correct part. Hope this saves anyone else from a lot of aggravation

Alot of the front suspension items are different for the V6 W202's. Glad you got it sorted in the end.

*EDIT* One trick I find handy if you require parts for your car. Always get a quote from the dealership, 9 times out ot 10 they will ask for your car's VIN, and you can be pretty sure that the part will be correct for your car. Once armed with the correct part number for your vehicle you can then hit the indies to find the best price.
