(w202) Engine won't start - Fuelpump or PMS ECU problem?

hi there,

about a week ago my C200 (w202/1996) won't start the engine.
at the beginning i thought it might be the fuel pump are broken -- because each time i tried to started the engine i cannot hear the fuel pump motor. (sometimes it works sometimes its not).

until yesterday the mechanic has checked and he said, the PMS ECU are broken -- some of the electrics circuit problems. circuit #8 or something i cannot remember details. (cmiiw)

fyi, all instruments or indicator on dashboard panel are working good.

my question is how to solve it ? is it possible to repair the PMS ECU or i have to get a new one.

They can be repaired. BBA Reman are a good place to send it to.

Firstly. Does it have fuel pressure and a good spark?
