W202 - facelift dimming RVM

Hi guys,

There's a lot of info about retrofitting the pre-facelft dimming rear view mirror (with red/green LEDs) out there, but not much on the same mod for facelift cars.

From what I have seen, it's simply a case of finding a w202 (rare) or w210 (if you can live with limited trim colours) mirror without the LEDs. Then it's just plug and play.

Any chance someone who's done the mod can confirm?

Yep,

I've done this mod before on my previous facelift model.

It is plug and play.

I've got a face-lift 210 one spare - they're all light grey.

That would work, I cycle from E4 to SW1 most working days.
