Nope, it's not a new speaker/dance music combo..........
My drivers side door has started to bang loudly when opened/closed. Did a forum search and, as in another thread, the catch between the two hinges is to blame.
Symptons seem different though, i've greased the hell out of it and its no better, the gold/silver coloured section inside the door seems to be the culprit, it moves in three jerks and seems to be hitting the inside of the door.
Has anyone had this happen before? Any idea if it's a DIY job or not? If it is that part then its only £15 from the stealers - just dont know how much work's involved and the haynes is, as usual, useless
