W202 Fuel Tank Capacity

standard capacity of tank 62 litres + a little more in the spout.
But was there ever a larger fuel tank option (like in some older mercs) ?
I have squeezed 450 miles from a tank of fuel in the w202 c230k before but want more. No comments about diesels please!

There was never an option of a bigger fuel tank on a W202, 62 litres was the only size available, though the estate omight of had the option of a bigger tank, but personnally I don,t think so.
450 miles to a tank from a C230k, that's very good, the most I have ever got out of mine has been 380 and that has only been the one time, mostly get 340-350 miles to a tank.

You will never get more than 450miles to a tank in a C230K. The tank size was 55 litres, and 7 reserve (when the light comes on).

The 450 miles was done in Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. I arrived at the Russia border running on fumes and filled up after crossing over the border. 55p per litre in Russia, £1.10 in Latvia! Thanks for the responses.

I confirm that my c240T estate also has the standard 62lt reservoir. Never have heard of a bigger size option
