Hello everyone, first of all please forgive my poor English.

I have a 1994 C220 with the instrument number 202 540 48 11. Recently it stopped working after working for a while, so I saw a brand new instrument number 202 540 57 47 on the Internet. The appearance is exactly the same, maybe C200, I want to know if it can be used in my car, I hope you can share your valuable experience

Any reply would be greatly appreciated

Good afternoon

Your English is fine 👍

The general advice when exchanging parts is to try ensure part numbers match. Of course parts are often superceeded by ones with different part numbers and this may be checked on the Mercedes workshop information system.

Unfortunately I do not have access to this but I am sure that someone will be along to help further.

In many models information about the vehicle (VIN, mileage etc) is held in the instrument cluster and may need to be programmed.

That can only be done by using a dedicated Mercedes computer system.
