Would anyone like to guess the cost of a new key from Mercedes?

The key is a simple key with no alarm/door remote functions so just a blade key.

I remember buying one for a W201 about ten years ago for £10/20 or something. I’m guessing they’ve gone up a bit?

I won't bother to guess but suggest a visit to Timpsons.

Last I heard a blade key was around £35 so I'd guess its now £60 ish.

Update

Due to mercedes wanting to see 976 documents, my inside leg measurement/wifes bra size and a 4/5 day wait i spoke to a neighbour who mentioned he had used Keys in the post previously -

Normally they require a photo of the key from above not one locked inside a car, took a picture of the key locked in my car had a quick chat with the owner on the phone who advised it should be satisfactory, paid £15 and £2.50 postage yesterday and a key that works arrived in the post this morning, excellent service.
