Hey guys,

I need a little help.

My w202 is suffering from a considerable loss of power. It simple will not accelerate as hard as it could. It now needs uber revs to get it going when I need a harsh acceleration. This only seems to affect the first and second gears.

Other than this I haven't noted any oddities.

Any advice? Any questions?

Sounds like a typical mass air flow sensor problem to me.

Does it have one? It's a 95 it doesn't even have traction control?

She's going to the garage today. My mum is dropping her off. I've been called out for emergency work - not good. But my mum has Been instructed not to say yes to anything other than to the issues surrounding this power loss malarky. Let's hope she sticks to that.

Anyway if this is turns out to expensive to repair, I think I'll just rent / buy a garage (my first piece of property), and keep her there for a while till I can get round to it myself.
