W202; Love for the unloved...

I have been running a 98 c240 Sport Estate ( dark green, black leather, 17" Amgs ) for a couple of years. Love the way it looks and drives, so far so good Toying with the idea of swapping the engine with the V8 from a similar aged E55 to liven it up a bit, but will start another thread for that..

It's certainly not an unloved car. The w202 has quite a good following. I'm a huge fan of the c43 amg

I have a w202 C280 sport which i love, IMHO one of the best cars i've owned. I have my eye on a C36 or a C43 next. #w202love

Are they unloved?

Funny thing is, got back into my mates W202 recently and I couldnt belive how tiny they are inside. I could virtually lean across and open up the drivers door from the passenger side

It was an esprit model and I was alarmed by the amount of body roll after 10 months in mine.

It's the air sus that does it , makes the car feel like a go kart rather than the supertanker it is.

Mint c43s are selling for cls55 money now.

The w202 especially the c43 are admirable cars.
