Just seen an option that seemed to me to be pretty rare or at least a rare combination.

A V reg C240 Classic (estate), cloth seats, but with the orthapaedic controls.

Not sure if they were electric or manual adjust, but it was def. a oem orthapaedic controller on the drivers seat.

Anyone else got the orthapaedic controls on non AMG seats in a W202?

They are also called multi-contour seats and they come as part of the refit with new covers, air bladders and a pressure pump - as well as the seat controllers.

The mod is quite possible only you must remove all trimmings from door sills, run air hoses and modify the seats. You keep the frames.

I've got one on a W210 estate :bannana:, nice to be able to adjust slightly when the back starts to ache on a long run :)

I don't think they are all that expencive. They not only about £400 for the pair?

Orthapaedic seats are mentioned in the handbook, complete with diagrams too.

You'd think car manufacturers would make their handbooks and manuals available online. E.g. Panasonic have online downloadable operating manuals for their TV's (pdf's) some of which are nearly 20 years old.
