At the weekend I had the rear bumper off & I was undersealing/Waxoyl'ing, and I started to paint the rear tow-eye & I noticed there appears to be a design fault with the chassis.
Above the joint (where it meets the car) there appears to be a small trench where water has collected & began to rust. I have cleared it all out & Krusted it all before I Waxoyl'ed it, but as a warning to other W202 owners have a good look.
Water appears to collect there and has no escape - thus turning to rust over time...
