W202 Phone console

Ive got a MB phone console for my car it has a hole at the back to attach to the side of the dash, but the top, front appears to have no attachments at all. Can some one show how to fit it please??

You have to remove the facia where your radio and heater controls are - it clips behind there I think.

It looks too wide to do that though have you got a photo of one before and after fitting (anyone!).

So basically the plastic edge just gets trapped in the gap between the trim and the dash? There are no fittings as such?

you remove the two screws below the wood trim at the cubby hold and the wood pulls forward. the metal bracket goes behind the trim.

the air vent in the passengers footwell with the large plastic screw in it comes out and this is replaced by the long black metal screw as came in the pack .

Do you think that the console that you have without the metal strip, could be persuaded/modded to fit a W140.

I have been looking for one to fit the s-class in ages but as of yet with no luck.

Anthracite .... pretty dark - I'd say more black than dark grey ... not sure though !
