W202 Radio Fascia that I can cut to fit a double DIN unit.

I've just picked up a lovely S202 C43 AMG and I am over the moon with it in all but the stereo, I am used to better and I really want to fit my Double DIN CarPlay unit to it but I can't bring myself to cut the fascia from an OEM car so I'm after one for W202/S202 that has the digital climate control cut out, does anyone have one? Or better yet an old Double DIN conversion that they've removed from their 202?

You will need to build one yourself by chopping up 2 old surrounds and glueing together. I did it several times and was never completely happy with the finish til I got my final version carbon hydro dipped (but by the time it turned up I'd sold the car ) and ended up giving it away. 1 point to note if by some chance you can find a uber rare w210 double din surround dispite looking identical it does not fit (ask me how I know grrrrr)

Appreciate the tip; I saw the W210 ones and thought "I bet that is just different enough not to work".

No issues with cutting a couple of them up just so long as they aren't the one currently in the car. I'll have to do something with the finish (as you did) so I don't mind what it looks like when I get it.

It was a long time ago but I seem to remember you also need a spare plastic cubby as well to chop up. You dremmell off the cubby leaving a flat surface, flip it over and screw to the bottom.

I also had my horn buttons dipped in carbon at the same time as cost pennies extra, a funky mod well worth doing

Good luck sourcing the bits ! I only had 2 switches in the top of my fascia so managed to source loads of fascias for bugger all Dosh so it was no Biggie cocking a few up. Obviously more brown trouser time with the 43 fascia with the full complement of switches !
