    Hi
I have a 1998 C200, when its been raining, which seems forever at the moment!, when I open the nearside rear door a waterfall happens!

It seems that water is collecting on top of the rubber door seal where it meets the tread plate. I have poked the drain holes and they seem clear. Has anyone got any ideas please?

Remove the door card (not difficult to do) and pull back the white plastic waterproof cover.

Once removed you should be able to see the otherside of the drainholes and clear it.

On my last W202 I had the same problem only to discover live maggots!

Thanks guys, only had the car a week, my first MB, It's a one owner car that has been chauffer driven, in really nice condition with grey leather interior. Hasn't stopped raining again today so hopefully I'll get to look tomorrow.
