W202 rear sub frame rust

2007 C200 only done 50 000 miles and otherwise rust free, in fact it's MINT. But the left rear arm of the sub frame is completely rusted through!?

Has anyone successfully complained to MB about this?

There's a history of early W204 rear subframes rusting thro from the inside [unprotected/painted] being replaced FOC by Mercedes BUT VERY MUCH DEPENDENT on ownership profile [ bought new] and service history [ full MB]. Bearing in mind a 2007 S203 is now 12years old I would guess your chances are slim to none -- you can only ask?

Fair point about the age, but given the rest of the car is in mint condition......Best person/contact at MB to write to/ring?
