W202 Stereo Size Issues?

My '95 W202 has an aftermarket Aiwa stereo fitted, however it has been swallowed up by the hole and is sitting/rattling around at the bottom of it. The stereo does have it's cage fitted but it seems way to small.

My question is, do you need a special size stereo to fit the exisitng hole, any manufacturers names would be helpful,

uhmm weird, 202`s have a standard DIN hole, stereos are normally 1DIN or 2DIN, By the sounds of it, your cage is probably not meant for the Aiwa, hence insted of locking in the unit is going straight through!

yes, the 202 should have a standard DIN-sized hole, unless someone has modified it in the past.
