W202 Storage Box Spring

Hi Guys, I Got A C Class A Few Days Ago And The Little Cover That Is Meant To Slowly Glide Down When You Push It Infront Of The Armrest Doesnt Do That, Instead It Falls Down, And Then Doesnt Shut Again, Any Advice Guys? How And What I Need 2 Do, To Fix It...

You may need to remove it clean all the gunk from the coil spring and runners and regrease it, should do the job, mine was playing up too and it worked for me. Just becareful if you remove the spring and all as you need to remember how it goes back on etc and its a bit fiddley.
