w202 transmission shifter replacement

W202 gurus I have found I think what my problem is...how do I tell my transmission is in park before I put autoshifter back on

it wont move when shoved??

i swapped my gear lever with no issues, the bush was worn on my old one. bit fiddly, but all do-able from inside the vehicle.

No it drives now but in limp mode,,,p,n,r,d work but does not change gear stays in 2nd
Did a start test, it come in with gear lever in z position

Then its not the lever, its another issue. Get the codes read, could be anything.

Get it plugged into star. I had a similar issue it was 2-3 solenoid, it might just need an oil change or it could be wiring broken somewhere.
