Xenon RuleZ

greetingz ;) ,

Look good mate. Are you impressed with them driving at night? I love my bi-xenon's, they make such a difference.

Koolvin, is that grill a Avantgard grill? it looks different than mine?

It is indeed an Avantgarde style grill.

How much do MB charge for them?

Is the only difference more sliver lines + black mesh?

nope but some parts were from my old lights right and where where the other parts from that you got out of your trunk?

I remember you saying that you needed additional parts from SL headlights to make the vacum leveling work?

Very nice K,

Don't you need some sort of washing or wiping facility for them to be kosher?

Lexus sell one car, IS300 with Styling Kit, which has HID lights and no form of headlight washing facility. They've been selling it for a couple of years.

indeed I do. I have the lower headlight trim for the wiper already and the wipers and motor are already on order.

Excellent!

Looking forward to the finished article.

How did you get on with the levelling? Is it via the current levelling system for the lights?

very nice Vin, look great!

K.,

Do you have pictures of the LED bulbs for your side lights? Are they something like this?

Did you wire in a resistor too? to stop the dreaded 'bulb failed' dash indicator from lighting up.

Well impressive, good job K.! :D Heh I think I'm actually more impressed by your side lights (city lights) than the Xenons :p Only kidding, it all looks great

They were these PIAA bulbs

The H263 white/white bulb. When I tried them I not only got the bulb failure message it cut power off completely so I never even got to see them working.

I have a bulb failure message which I am working on....

Thanks for the info Rich, Not suitable for your motor then?

I'm guessing that Koolvin has wired in a resistor to fool the ECU into thinking the 'standard bulb' is working normally.

*EDIT* D'Oh heh you beat me to it K. :p
