can anyone out there help was driving along and car cut out el power edc came up on dash read out.had car on computer and no faults found have got fuel in both sides of fuel is been drawn through the system just will not fire up have even towed it round for ten mins but still no joy anyone got any ideas

Try a squirt of EasyStart. If it starts, it is very likely to be an injector problem. Other possibility is the high pressure fuel pump (at the front of the engine).

What is your mileage?

tried easy start just fires and dies straight away mileage is 137000 injectors got done about 6000 miles ago is there anyway of testing the pump without taking it to the garage

Certainly appears to be related to lack of fuel pressure. I suspect you need to put it on Star to get much further.

thanks might see if I can get a second hand pump and try that cheaper than sending to specialist

I believe that repair kits are available for the high pressure pump.
