My Mercedes started playing up upon start.Somtimes cranks first time ,sometime there is just clicking noise nothing happens..

If it's the defective starter motor ,can it be replaced with any other brand Valeo with Bosch...

Just clicking noise now no spin,luckily the car is home.Anyone give us a hint how to tackle the upper bolt?
