w203 270 cdi won't start

I recently changed the door passenger actuator on c270 cdi and now the car wont start. It doesn't crank but ignition switches on. I've checked the battery and it is fine.

Changing the actuator meant taking out the door airbag, could this be the issue as the srs light is now showing on the dash.

Any ideas?

I did the same job on my S203 C270 - I disconnected the battery and left it an hour before touching the airbag , and only reconnected it after the job was finished - everything was fine .

I would suggest either plugging in an OBD reader ( can be bought for as little as £10 ) or even better getting codes read on Star , either should tell you where the fault lies rather than guessing .
