Sorry for the really basic question. My boot interior light is not working. So I would like to replace the blub for the boot interior light blub. The interior boot light is positioned just below the rear window below the parcel shelf.

Does any know how to replace the blub. I've tried removing the white interior light cover and it does not appear to move or be able to be removed. I'm a bit worried about using too much force incase it is not the correct procedure to replace the blub.

Can anyone offer me some guidance.

U need a small flat head screw driver to carefully insert into one of the sides (it states in the manual - cant remember off hand which side it is to insert the screw driver...).

Hi there, I have a 2005 MB CLK 280 (W209) Cabrio. The interior boot light is not working. There is only one light in the boot, which is on left hand just back side of the left rear light. I just thought that the bulb was death and tried to change it and then I realized that the bulb was ok but the light is not wired at all.
I would be glad if anyone can explain what it is. Is this light just a reserve light or something? CLK Cabrio has no boot light?

Tried the fuses?

Open up the side panel next to the headlight controls and there will be a piece of paper telling you which of the fuse boxes (3 of them) it will be in.
