W203 - boot not springing up anymore!

Hi Guys, hope someone can help, I have searched the forum but can't seem to find an answer.
The boot lid on my C230K only unlatches and lifts 2-3 inches. It has recently been replaced after I was rear-ended by a luton van When I picked up the car from the bodyshop the boot lifted fine, but after 10 days or so it stopped lifting all the way. Is it a simple adjustment, or does it need to go back to the bodyshop?

Simple adjustment assuming that the spring (s) are not broken.

Behind the side carpet trim panels there is a spring on each side and it can be slotted into three positions/slots that control the adjustment.

Have a look yourself BUT certainly take it back to body shop if no joy.
