w203 boot open sensor saying boot open when its shut??

Is this a C class estate ? what year ?

Locate the door switch and give it a dose of silicone oil spray (or WD40)?

w203 so C class... hmmmm ill give it a spray but if the switch is goosed i cant see it working

the boot locks and functions as normal its just the indication. there must be a way to disable the switch??
