W203 brake wear.

Hello good people - with my first A service due shortly at 17000 miles what are the chances of the standard 'MENU' price being added to by the stealership. If I have new pads what is the damage likely to be? What do people expect as decent lifespan on a car that's had an easy life.

I know these are finger in the air type questions but as ever I'd be grateful of any help.

With the last W210 220CDI we had , driver carefully , both pads and discs were still good at 42k
