Hi
I am currently having some issues and i am unsure if it is electrical or gearbox related.
I purchased a 2001 C class coupe semi auto/Sequencial as a project i knew it had problems to start with but here goes i have put another gear box in which had hydraulic pump and control unit which i also knew were working, this has now been put into the car and is working. the car now has had mot done and i have been driving it for a week or so.
here comes the problem i have currently i have noticed the car is a bit jumpy as it runs through the gears. anyone know if this is normal for this model.
also i had a message come up select gear again this happened for about 20mins then it went into gear so parked at work 2 hrs later wouldnt select gear again. i took relays out checked them all ok as soon i put them back the car worked although very jumpy. does anyone have any idea on what it could be your help would be good many thanks for reading this. jon
