Hi. I am looking for some help.....

I recently had my engine management light come on and the car went into limp mode. I had the codes read and it turned out to be the MAF sensor. I purchased a Pierburg replacemment after reading here that the cheap ebay ones are not much use. Fitted correctly and the engine management light went off and car came out of limp mode, however.......

The performance of the car is not what it used to be. It seems to be lacking power and is not as responsive when kicking down gears etc. I thought it may be a faulty sensor so i bought another the same and problem still persists. Car goes ok but not performing 100%. I am just looking if anyone has had the same problems after replacing MAF sensor???

I have had the car on a diagnostic again and there are no errors

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try resetting your engine ECU by following the below instructions.
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.

2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.

3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.

4. Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.

I hope this helps!
