W203 C320 CDI in Ramsey Essex

Good evening,
looks like I am your latest member
We bought a nice black 2005 C320 CDI earlier this month.
As a Land Rover owner I know my way round a box of spanners so do my own servicing and repairs
This C320 does need a little bit of TLC to make it nicer.
For example have already changed the worn out bonnet gas struts...
Any helped advice would be gratefully received and faithfully applied

I'm fairly new to the MB club having purchased a 2002 W203 c-class6 weeks ago...

I've found this club to be very helpful when it comes to spanner-related advice - there's a good archive to search and if that fails the folks here are rather good at offering advice.

Apart from the bonnet struts, are there any other 'jobs' that need doing?

Yes loads of little jobs to do on the car.....
.....so far I have changed both the MAFs and the leaking Y piece induction pipe
This was causing the car to hesitate on acceleration and bringing up DTC P0101 (MAF)
Then I did a full service on it - usual filters and oil etc
To do:
Replace the engine mountings. Vibration from engine and 'growls' on acceleration!
Drain and flush 7G tronic auto gearbox and replace filter etc

Anyone recommend a MB parts supplier.
The local stealer at Colchester just quoted silly money for engine mountings.....

Eurocarparts (I think it is but someone will confirm or correct) have a thread on here for parts price requests. I think they do discount for members too.

Ordered them today from an online Febi dealer
About £120 cheaper than the price quoted by the main stealer
