W203 Cam Magnet Sensors.

Hi ,

My Cam Magnet Sensors have started to leak

Does anyone have a How-to on replacing them or is it something best left for a dealer/indie to do.

My engines M271 on a C180K 2003 with 92k on the clock.

Hi mate,

Its not dribbling oil but there is a tiny amount of oil in the sensor connectors. Its only just started as these get checked very regularly. I am ordering the patch leads for the connectors but thought that as the oil ingress has just started, the sensors would need replacing.

I take it this is not the case then

An expert will be along soon but my understanding was that everything could be cleaned if caught early enough. I would'nt count oil inside the plug as sweating though. Care required I think.
