Does anyone know if any functions within STAR can be used to check mpg? For example if the injectors are metering diesel at the correct amounts etc.
I'm going to see an independant tech who has a STAR machine to get some mirrors coded in, so will have the opportunity to ask him to check other stuff.
And all this stems from the fact that over the past 2months my W203 CDI220 has been getting high 30's on avarage......when it was getting around 42-43mpg. Traffic especially seems to thrash the mpg. Perhaps it is all correct, plus the car is running at 90degC and I mainly have the gearbox in 'C' mode, but I'm just keen to check/rule anything out.
